Paris Music Corp is a synth-pop artist from Austin, whose dreamy, uplifting and experimental music is a paradoxical mix of darkness and lights that seep and leak from the subliminal soul of dance-trance. It’s music that takes you to a place of sonic solitude, whilst uniting the icy innovations of post-punk. Hauntingly beautiful, ambiently aloof, Paris Music Corp creates music that ventures outside the comfort zones of synth-pop and adds a surreal and cinematic edge.

Taken from his Eponymous LP “Paris Music Corp”, (released 14th March 2022), Paris Music Corp has released the single “Almost Lost”, which has been selected as my Single Of The Day.

Almost Lost awakens through the white noise of nothing and drifts in slow motion through the spheres of space and time. It’s a hypnotic track, that drowses in a higher state of Eastern elation, whilst spinning in a wave of neo-psychedelia. Through the pulsating beats, and funked up bass, Almost Lost takes a trip down memory lane, revisiting the rave days of the late 80s and early 90s in a hazy hour of hedonism. Along with the spiked synths and delirious drones, Almost Lost transcends a menacing ambience that sleep-walks through the lucid dreams of industrial rock. It’s a nocturnal navigation that flies free amongst the space-seagulls in a dark wave of synth-pop, whilst gazing at the stars.
