Following on from their hit single “It’s Okay”, Singaporean-French duo Cravism x Maya Diegel are back with two further singles, in anticipation of their new EP “Caryatid’ released on October 22nd 2021. As a duo, Cravism x Maya Diegel pick up from the sundrenched soul of 90s RnB and give it a sultry make-over that intersects classic girl-band harmonies in a back-drop of neo-jazz sophistication. They are a sonic delight, whose sleek, pristine and smooth delivery is on a par with artists such as Morcheeba, D’Angelo and Erykah Badu. Through their sugar-coated and sexed-up serenades, Cravism x Maya Diegel crystallises their place in neo-soul, creating music that seduce the senses and redefines boy meets girl sensibilities with a breezy nonchalance. They are an act that are classically crafted, whilst remaining cool, calm and contemporary.
Ladies Night dims the lights and chills in the be-bop basement of neo-jazz, low-fi and RnB. It’s a smooth operator whose honey-tinged vocals soothes the senses in a melting pot of sultry tones and lush harmonies. Along with the funky bass, groovy-synths and tepid taps, Ladies Night trip-hops into an underworld of sensuality, that edges towards hip-hop soul.
Caryatid swirls and whirls in a stream of RnB, neo-soul and hip-hop soul. It’s a sublime track that uproots the horn-infused nostalgia of yesteryear and adds a contemporary sheen. Through the stunning vocals, Caryatid cruises into the laid-back lounge of trip-hop, whilst rippling on the waves of neo-jazz.

Music and streaming sites like Spotify. Out in full on October 22, the ‘Caryatid EP’ project entails a
staggered release of a track every three weeks with accompanying films, in addition to a series of online
live performances of these compositions.
