Dmitry Wild is a singer-songwriter from New York, whose catchy, introspective and melodic rock, bounces with an upbeat vigour that is reminiscent of Iggy Pop, The White Stripes, Adam and the Ants and The Cramps. He’s an artist that revisits 70s new wave, post-punk, glam-rock, garage, gothabilly, art-rock and intermixes with third wave post-punk. He’s an artist whose unhinged energy pogo-jumps outside the parameters of punk and creates a theatrical and improvised staged presence.
Having been inspired by the on-going pandemic, Wild has created music that uplifts and angular grinds through the angst and extinguishes with his firebrand of energy and inflamed passion. With his single “Don’t Need Anybody” and B-side “Summer of 21”, Wild time-capsules the heightened emotions of these uncertain days and adds a much needed dose of kick-ass-anarchy to pull us out of this misery. As a front-man, Wild delivers with an idiosyncratic, riotous rebellion, which liberates the senses and stage-dives them into a celebratory pit of rock n roll. Along with the throbbing beats and striking strums, Wild is the real deal, the bona-fide frontman that oozes charisma and finesse.

In early 2022, Dmitry Wild plans to release a full-length album of edgy ballads, folky gipsy tales, a few covers, other introspective tracks inspired by the 80s and garage blues.
Released on December 1st 2021, ‘Don’t Need Anybody’ is available across all good digital platforms including Apple Music, Spotify and Bandcamp, where it can already be ordered.
